Mexican-born Salma Hayek has appeared to claim that Donald Trump leaked a story about her because she refused to go on a date with him.
The Republican presidential nominee allegedly tried to get Salma to go out with him when she had been trying to make a name for herself in Hollywood, and allegedly got a friend to get her telephone number.
Salma reportedly felt that Trump felt smarted when she snubbed his invitations and allegedly tipped off a newspaper with a misleading story about her.
“Someone told the National Enquirer – I’m not going to say who because you know that whatever he wants to come out, comes out in the National Enquirer. It said that he wouldn’t go out with me, because I was too short.”
After the story was published, Salma said that Trump continued to call and even left her a voicemail saying that he was shocked to read such a story.
