After releasing two vicious diss tracks aimed at Nicki Minaj, t was no question whose funeral Remy was dressed for.
The release of Fat Joe and Remy Ma’s new album Plata o Plomo was eclipsed by the latter’s timely resurrection of a decade-old feud with Nicki Minaj that began in 2007, before Minaj’s fame and Remy Ma’s six-year incarceration.
Remy Ma suggested the songs weren’t inspired by anything Minaj directly did to her, but by Minaj’s alleged condescending and calculating “Behind-the-scenes” reputation.
“This person, just based on what I’m witnessing, is not a nice person,” Remy Ma said.
In addition to Plata o Plomo, Remy Ma said she is working on her solo album, Seven Winters, Six Summers.
“We can be friends,” said Remy Ma. “[But] I will be cataloging information … [If] nothing ever happens, I’ll never open the file cabinet.
