A lockdown was lifted at the Redstone Arsenal U.S. Army installation in Huntsville, Ala., Tuesday after reports of an active shooter surfaced Tuesday morning.

The situation was resolved and the lockdown was lifted by 1 p.m. local time, according to a Redstone Arsenal spokesperson.

The activity took place near the Sparkman Center, the headquarters for the Army’s Aviation and Missile Command on the Arsenal.

Redstone announced the situation in a morning tweet.

People inside the arsenal said that the Shooter was in the Sparkman Center, Al.com reported.

The City of Madison, Ala. also spread word of the shooter Tuesday.
