The Chicago native returns with his reflective single “The Heart & The Tongue.” The accompanying clip shows he performing the song in many corners of his house, as he deals with the inner struggle that he feels. Late last month, Chance filed a countersuit against Corcoran, seeking damages for breach of fiduciary duty, obstruction of business and lost profits, and breach of contract. Over the past two years, Chance has also given his fans a series of guest verses, collaborating with the likes of Vic Mensa, G Herbo, Justin Bieber and Spillage Village. The song is Chance’s first official single since the release of his first official album, The Big Day, which came on the heels of his impressive mixtape “child” with 10 Day, Acid Rap and Coloring Book. For the first time in almost two years, we got new music from Chance The Rapper. While things have been going well for Chance for the past two years, the rapper recently found himself in a new battle with his former manager. In December, Pat Corcoran sued him for breach of contract for $3 million.
