For a week in April, the city of Los Angeles was my playground.
I attend parties, accept invitations, and make plans.
Events I usually attend are held at iconic hotels, such as the Beverly Hilton and Beverly Wilshire.
Highlights from my trip include rubbing elbows with the rich and famous at acharity luncheon on April 17, seeing my friend Ruta Lee on the red carpet on April 15, and a gala on my last night in town.
On April 17 at a ballroom at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, I enjoyedlunch and Oscar de la Renta fashion show.
Several cast members attended and it was especially great to meet Hector Elizondo and Heather Matarazzo.
On my first evening in town, Lauren and I visited several posh restaurants in Beverly Hills including La Scala, the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel, and the Living Room Bar at the W Hotel.
I enjoyed talking with actress and dancer Mitzi Gaynor during lunch at the Beverly Hilton.
