Louis C.K. called President Donald Trump a “Lying sack of shit” during the comedian’s chat with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday’s Late Show.

Colbert first brought up C.K.’s comments in a scathing March 2016 email for fans that likened Donald Trump to Hitler, a remark that the comedian later downplayed.

Asked how his perception of Trump had changed, the comedian explained, “Now, I guess he’s not as profound as I thought he was. I thought he was some new kind of evil. But he’s just a lying sack of shit.”

“Sometimes people lie. ‘That guy lied, they found out he lied.’ And then t’s somebody who lies once in a while, can’t quite stay inside the boundaries of truth, right? Somebody who lies sometimes. Then you have a liar, whose somebody who has a problem, they can’t help it, they lie a lot. And then you have a lying sack of shit They like it, he likes it It’s insane, he’s just a gross, crook, dirty, lying sack of shit.”

After teasing the one Trump voter in Colbert’s Hillary-heavy audience, C.K. subtly chastised the millions of people who didn’t use their vote on Election Day because they don’t like waiting in lines or because they didn’t like either candidate.

C.K., Number Four on Rolling Stone’s Best Stand-Up Comics of All Time list, visited The Late Show to promote his new Netflix comedy special 2017, which premiered on the streaming service Tuesday, the first of two exclusive specials.

From Louis C.K.’s Netflix special ‘Louis C.K.: 2017’ to the racially charged satire ‘Dear White People’ – the 10 best movies and TV shows to stream in April.
