Limon sent Farhadi a link to the video of “He” and Nella singing “ Fin de Fiesta”. “Farhadi loved the song and asked Nella to sing it over the phone. Nella’s last album, Voy, was nominated for the 2019 Latin Grammy Award. To capture the effects of the crisis, Nella and Limon recorded the video “Volveré a Mi Tierra” with Venezuelans from around the world. One of the highlights of the album is “Volveré a Mi Tierra”, in which Nella talks about the humanitarian crisis in her native Venezuela. When she goes to the Latin American Grammy next month, Nella wants her music to become the voice of Venezuelans who hope for a better future for their country. Nella Marianella Rojas was born in Porlamar, Margarita Island, Venezuela’s largest island in the Caribbean, and grew up with American pop music. Nella wants to be a voice of hope for Venezuela, Nella Voi’s debut album is a meditation on a country she has left behind. That’s why I wrote this song, and then I got a message that I had to go to Madrid not only to record songs for the film, but also to take part in it,” says Nella. A Spanish guitarist, composer and producer who worked with famous names in flamenco, Limon saw something special in Nella when he first heard them in high school. After reading an article in the newspaper, Limon sent Nella a letter with some lyrical ideas about music. After graduating from high school in 2007, Nella moved to Caracas, Venezuela to study communication and music. Venezuelan artist Nella is nominated for the title of best new artist and knows that she not only tells her story, but also the story of her “home” because she is present. “I grew up with all the divas – Cristina Aguilera, Celine Dion, Maria Carey and everyone else,” says Nella. “Sometimes people complain that “you don’t care about Venezuela, you don’t write about Venezuela,” says Nella. Then Nella’s first album, “Voye,” produced by Limon, was born.
