EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram did not practice on Tuesday and their statuses will be updated tomorrow before the Los Angeles Lakers play the Denver Nuggets.

“I don’t think Lonzo’s is anything too serious,” Lakers head coach Luke Walton said.

Lakers forward Larry Nance Jr. did not practice and is considered day-to-day after X-rays on his sprained right index finger were negative.

The Lakers have a shootaround on Wednesday before playing the Nuggets again in Ontario, California.

While the Lakers may want to play it safe with both of their No. 2 overall picks from the past two seasons, Ball has said he will play if he can.

“That’s all medical stuff,” Walton said on what will determine Ball’s status for playing.

“It’s my job as a coach to coach who we have available. We’ll have a plan for if he doesn’t play; we’ll have a plan for if he does.”
