Katy Perry appeared at the Democratic National Convention with a victorious roar and to extol Hillary Clinton’s run for president.

An early supporter of Clinton’s campaign, Perry was a confident choice that implored the crowd to “Use your voice” before performing “Rise” and “Roar.”.

“Both of my parents are pastors, and staunch Republicans,” Perry said.

The singer followed her speech with her new single “Rise” followed by “Roar.” “Let’s roar for Hillary,” Perry said before going into the song.

Perry endorsed Clinton for president in October and has since campaigned for the candidate at numerous fundraisers such as a major political rally in Iowa.

The DNC had a number of high-profile performances over the week from Paul Simon performing “Bridge Over Troubled Water” on night one to Carole King lending Hillary Clinton a hand with “You’ve Got a Friend” earlier on Thursday night.

Most memorably, actress and Pitch Perfect 2 director Elizabeth Banks organized all-star a cappella cover of Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song” in support of Clinton.
