Aussie stars punished with Vegemite at G’Day USA.

Au’s Andrew Bucklow challenged stars including John Travolta and Jai Courtney to a game of trivia on the red carpet at the G’Day USA Black Tie Gala in LA. CELEBRITIES are used to being fawned over on red carpets so we decided to shake things up a bit.

As some of the country’s biggest stars walked the red carpet at the G’Day USA Black Tie Gala at the Dolby Ballroom in Los Angeles, we challenged them to a game.

Some of the stars, including all-round nice guy Jai Courtney and Julie Bishop, seemed genuinely delighted by the fact they got their questions wrong and smashed spoonfuls of Vegemite with gusto.

Others including Joe Hockey and Crocodile Dundee star Paul Hogan, well, they weren’t so keen.

Some of the other guests who attended the event that honours high profile Aussies for their contribution to strengthening the US-Australia relationship included: Qantas Ambassador-at-large John Travolta, Ben Mendelsohn, Baz Luhrmann, Daniel MacPherson, Luke Hemsworth, Teresa Palmer, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban.

Ben Mendelsohn, who recently starred in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, was also honoured on the night, receiving the G’Day USA Excellence in Film and Television Award.
