T are silent movie fans and t are people that are going to be fans of A Quiet Place.
The latter is no black-and-white piece of Buster Keaton slapstick.
A movie whose emphasis on silence is as pressing and intriguing as famed Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode “Hush,” the the supernatural horror values quiet because it’s the only safety from the sound-seeking horrors haunting John Krasinski and Emily Blunt’s farm-dwelling family.
Even the film’s crew took a vow of silence during production.
The new Super Bowl trailer just dropped and it promises a lot of silent terror stalking its adorable, toy-loving kids and tough, gun-toting adults.
The Krasinski-directed film promised plenty of silent terrors and interesting uses of sign language in its first teaser, but now that we’ve actually seen the claw marks of the woods’ monster, we can’t wait.
