On Monday, in a now-deleted Instagram post, Bucks forward John Henson described his experience at a local Milwaukee jewelry store, w he was denied entry, and then locked out of the store during open hours.
Shortly afterward, two police cars arrived to monitor the situation and speak with Henson.
Understandably outraged and hurt, Henson took to Instagram to describe the ordeal and his reaction to it, which in turn sparked outrage.
The owners of the store told local media that after suspicious calls made to the store, police had patrolled the area, and found a suspicious vehicle of the same make and model as Henson’s car.
“He was sincere in his apology,” Henson said of his meeting with Dixon.
Henson’s post received national attention after he used social media to explain what happened to him.
The 24-year-old Henson, who is starting his fourth season with the Bucks, said he never had been treated in such a manner.
Henson, 24, signed a four-year, $44 million extension earlier this month to stay with the Bucks.
