We’ve now reached the third part of the three-part epic that is Joe Budden’s response to Drake’s verses on French Montana’s “No Shopping,” and the rapper has some frank-and fighting-words for Toronto’s Very Own.

Following the same vitriolic path of “Making a Murderer Pt. 1” and “Wake,” Budden lays it bare for the listener, pointing fingers at Drake and stressing how he feels betrayed.

Off the bat, Budden admits that Drake struck a nerve: “I just feel like you broke a promise to me/Only hurt cause I thought you were being honest with me/So I’m gon’ try and do this honorably/Without the sponsoring fee what’s most alarming to me.”

The earnestness gets meaner as the track progresses and soon Budden’s invoking Degrassi: The Next Generation, poking fun at Drake’s physique and even bringing up his feud with Meek Mill, a move he played on “Wake” before it.

It’s a scorcher, and it’s enough to wonder if Budden’s in the process of churning out even more diss tracks.

At this point, he could helm a diss EP, so watch this space for additional developments.
