UPDATE: Iggy has reacted to T.I.’s claims and is looking at things otherwise.
T.I. was once Iggy Azalea’s mentor, but now he is divulged that he has cut off his company ties with the young rapper.
When asked when he cut off ties, he said, “Yeah, after the Qtip matter,” referring to when rapper Q Tip sent lots of tweets to Iggy, schooling her on hip hop culture.
Iggy was accused of misappropriating black culture in the huge consequent backlash.
“Right now, Imma block the bullets” he remembered.
“But I truly do feel that they just needed a bit more time to correct, which I feel they are able to do,” T.I. said of Iggy and her crew.
