Henry Cavill went undercover at Comic-Con 2016 to surprise Will Smith, Scott Eastwood and the rest of the Suicide Squad cast members on Saturday, July 23 – and got away with it.

The Man of Steel actor, 33, shared a video on Instagram Saturday, in which he dons a smiling Guy Fawkes V for Vendetta mask to stroll around the convention.

He poses with comic book fans in Superman T-shirts, gives the camera a look when a guy in a Batman mask walks up next to him, and unearths some collector’s comics at various booths.

Cavill puts his disguise to the test by pranking unsuspecting Smith, 47, and Eastwood, 30.

The actor walks directly up to Smith to ask for a photo together, removing the mask just in time for the camera shutters to click.

When Smith looks over to shake his hand, he gets the shock of a lifetime and can’t stop laughing.

Cavill later shakes Viola Davis’ hand and poses for photos with Eastwood, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and more.

“Best Comic Con yet,” he captioned the video.

“I got to be for Justice League but couldn’t miss Suicide Squad. #SDCC2016 #JusticeLeague #SuicideSquad.”.
