Beloved dramedy TV show Gilmore Girls premiered 16 years ago on Wednesday, and for its anniversary several cast members reflected on the show’s best moments and more in a “We’re Back” featurette.

The show returns next month for a four-part Netflix reboot called Gilmore Girls: A Day in the Life, which picks up from when the series ended nine years ago.

In an endearing, nostalgic look back, the clip features interviews with lead stars Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel alongside mainstays like Scott Patterson and Kelly Bishop.

Other supporting cast members, such as Rory’s best friend Lane and Liza Weil plus three of Rory’s boyfriend’s – Milo Ventimiglia, Jared Padalecki and Matt Czuchry – also take part in the video.

“Every role was thoughtfully cast,” Bledel points out in the clip.

The interviews are interspersed with footage from the original series, which includes scenes with Melissa McCarthy, who portrayed Lorelai’s best friend, Sookie.

The interviews mostly take place on the Stars Hollow set, as actors point out places of interest from the original show and reminisce about their fondest memories from the series.

One of the many charming aspects of the show is its fast-paced, cleverly quipped dialogue, which Agena and Czuchry discuss during their new interviews.

In addition to the featurette, Netflix launched one-day-only Luke’s Diner popups in 200 coffee shops around the country on Wednesday, as The Hollywood Reporter notes.
