A deadly shooting took place at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Friday afternoon.
Broward County Commissioner Chip LaMaraca said the shooter arrived at the airport by way of a flight from Canada.

The Transportation Security Administration said the airport is closed.
The Federal Aviation Administration reported as of 3:10 p.m. that flights are not arriving or departing from the airport.
