Damian Lillard puts on for his hometown Oakland whenever he can, and when it comes to his old high school, that love runs extra deep.
Yesterday the Portand Trail Blazers star went back to Oakland High School, his old stomping grounds, to retire his jersey, and he brought the students some surprises while he was t.
Lil Uzi Vert, DJ Esco, and Fetty Wap all came out in a surprise concert for the high school’s students, garnering a mega enthusiastic response from all involved.
Dame and Adidas teamed up to spruce up the school pic.
In addition to the insane show he put on, Lillard upgraded a number of the school’s facility, making sure future generations of Oakland High School have greater opportunities than he did.
