Jimmy Fallon is always coming up with silly new skits for The Tonight Show.And for Tuesday’s episode, the 41-year-old teamed up with Ethan Hawke to gently poke fun at other people’s misfortune through the medium of country song.

At one point, Jimmy did a spot of improvisation after his accent went wobbly and Ethan asked if had ‘something in your throat’.
Making the crowd laugh: The stories got progressively funnier, and Jimmy sang one about somebody slapping themselves in the face because they thought t was a spider on their cheek.
Wrapping things up: Jimmy and Ethan – who was promoting The Phenom – finished by singing together.
