Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s new movie Baywatch comes out May 25, but on the May 20 season finale of Saturday Night Live, he announced another role: United States Presidential candidate.

With chatter swirling that he should run in 2020, Johnson used his hosting gig to agree that yes, he should run-and would.

What’s more, he announced his running mate, Tom Hanks.

The fellow Five Timers’ Club member joined Johnson in Studio 8H to discuss their chances of winning.

Johnson told Hanks, “Americans can only agree on two things: pizza and us.”

“Together, we would get 100% of the vote,” Hanks replied.

“I would get the senior vote, because I fought in World War II. In like ten different movies.”

Johnson agreed, “I, of course, would get the minority vote. Because everyone just assumes that I’m, well, whatever they are.”
