Die-hard Muse fans know that Bellamy, the English singer and guitarist in the Simulation Theory Rockers, has long used and supported Manson guitars, including a custom-made DeLorean-like guitar. Musician Matt Bellamy plays Marty McFly in a teaser for the movie Back to the Future, inspired by Manson Guitars. Bellamy is so involved that in 2019 “he” became a majority shareholder in the British company founded by guitarist Hugh Manson. In a video for the movie “Back to the Future,” Bellamy took a ride in a shiny DeLorean, just like Michael J. The new video is for the Manson DL-OR, Bellamy’s signature model, which will be released later this month. The guitar pictured has a shiny silver finish, a humbucker in the bridge position and a P-90 in the neck. This summer, a Bellamy song played on a Jeff Buckleys guitar sold as an NFT for $27,000. The instrument is stylistically based on the DeLorean time machine from the movie franchise. However, according to Guitar World, other than that, little is known about the instrument. The band will headline Mad Cool Festival 2022 along with Metallica and The Killers. Muse recently remixed their 20th anniversary album Origin of Symmetry. It looks like other Bellamys TV models.
