Demi Lovato was back on stage on Wednesday night, hitting Glasgow’s SSE Hydro Arena for a triumphant return to the European leg of her Tell Me You Love Me World Tour. The star looked incredible in her racy ensembles as she told the crowd she was still trying to protect her voice, so they would need to help her with the high notes.

Demi put her all into the performance, just two days after cancelling her second tour date, looking incredible in racy tights and leather as she posed on a chaise lounge and writhed around with her backing dancers.

Before the show an excited Demi tweeted her fans from backstage, gushing that she couldn’t wait to get back to work.

In an emotional text post and video posted to her social media, Demi – who had performed the day before at Capital FM’s Summertime ball – detailed how if she tried to carry on, t was a good chance she would have to cancel the rest of her world tour.

Explaining about her current condition, Demi wrote: ‘I write this through tears of frustration and sadness that I have to postpone my concert in London at the 02 tonight due to being very, very sick and with swollen vocal chords that were examined by an ENT.’If I go on tonight and injure my vocal chords any more I could potentially have to cancel the rest of my tour.

Demi continued: ‘I’m so so so sorry to disappoint any of my fans in London that have travelled hours to be by plane or car, and to all the fans that got these tickets for their birthday, holiday or any other special occasion.

Signing off, Demi reassured fans she would be rescheduling the show for 25th June and thanked fans for their understanding.

Clearly very upset by the decision, Demi also shared a video with her followers explaining her need to rest.
