Fox has lost a reddish-band promo for the Deadpool trailer, featuring Ryan Reynolds in costume as the film’s vulgar messed-up merc.
He Is here to introduce his own preview, which seems absurd for most movies, but is really just that which we’d expect from Marvel’s fourth wall breaking character.
This is actually the same preview intro seen by Comic Con crowds a few weeks past; the dialogue has been altered a bit, but otherwise it is exactly the same footage.
We know there are just two versions of the Deadpool trailer hitting this week – one all-ages edit, and one red-band cut.
We expect the latter to be a lot just like the Comic Con promo the above mentioned footage originally introduced, or at least very close.
In the meantime, the promo’s YouTube page even has a little tune for buffs, and you may always check out some other Deadpool pictures here and here.
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unusual anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool.
Armed with his new skills and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who almost ruined his life.
