It’s the movie so many people have been gagging to see and we’ve finally been given a tiny snippet of what’s to be expected for Deadpool 2.
T’s no denying Deadpool was an absolute smash hit at the Box Office as fans lapped up the obscene language and gratuitous violence that is less of a common occurence in other Marvel movies.
Thankfully, Ryan Reynolds is back in the red and black superhero suit to appropriately fuck shit up and stop the new bad guy, Cable from fucking shit up.
The movie executives have been teasing us with a few promotional posters and clips and t – but nothing concrete.
We’ve now been given a better look at how Wade Wilson aka Deadpool plans on saving the world.
In the Deadpool 2 trailer, Brolin’s character is seen with a green arm, supposedly for special effects, leading to Reynolds pausing the clip and yelling out: “Dale! Why are the visual effects not done? It’s a metal arm. It’s not like we’re trying to remove a moustache.”
The trailer also shows that we can expect to see the loveable taxi driver who appeared in the first, along with our wallflower heroes who came to Deadpool’s aid at the end of the original: Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Colossus.
Producer Simon Kinberg telling Entertainment Weekly: “It has to tonally and stylistically be as fresh and original. That’s a big challenge especially because they had 10 years to gestate on the first movie and we don’t have that kind of time on the second movie.”
The trailer also informed us that the movie will thankfully be ready for 18 May, which is the day before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding.
