Yesterday Star Wars breakout actress Daisy Ridley turned the tender age of 24, and the event probably looked a little different than her 23rd. Remember that a year ago Ridley was still just the mysterious actress cast in The Force Awakens.
The young star was the toast of the town this weekend as we were all reminded that Ridley is the hero we deserve.
The pose-a delightful homage to Luke’s training with Yoda in The Empire Strikes Back-was not only huge hit with lovers of nostalgia, but also proved that Ridley has the physical strength to be the hero we all deserve.
When Star Wars: The Force Awakens took home the prize for best film it was Ridley, not J.J. Abrams, who did most of the talking during the acceptance speech.
So that’s how people celebrated around Ridley, but how did the actress herself party on her big day? In, possibly, the most delightfully down-to-earth way possible-with a Clippers game, a slice of pizza, and a big grin.
