Chief Keef was arrested Thursday evening in Los Angeles in connection with a home invasion of his former producer, Ramsay tha Great.

The LAPD confirmed Ramsay was robbed at gunpoint at his house on January 19th, and the producer accused Keef with assaulting him during the incident, NBC Los Angeles reports.

The rapper, real name Keith Cozart, was taken into custody without incident along with two others.

NBC Los Angeles aired footage of the individuals being taken into custody.

In their televised piece, one reporter emphasized that Ramsay “Believes the extreme violence they committed was not random.” The producer spoke about the altercation on Instagram, alleging that Keef hit him in the face with an AK-47 during the invasion and robbery.

Chief Keef, the Chicago rapper who broke out as a teenager with gritty singles like “I Don’t Like,” announced plans to “Retire” from rapping last year.
