CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cavs coach Tyronn Lue confirmed the players met after a 99-93 loss to the Chicago Bulls Thursday night to further discuss the team’s rut.

The loss to the Bulls was Cleveland’s fifth in seven games and 10th loss for the month, not to mention its third loss in a row.

Of course, players also shared words following a 29-point loss Monday to San Antonio.

“Guys talked last night,” Lue said, before the Cavs hosted the 76ers Friday.

“You know, just had a good talk amongst themselves and now we’ve got to move on and play. We’ve done enough talking over the last couple weeks. Now we just gotta settle in, we gotta play.”

T was a pretty good indication that another meeting took place by Kyrie Irving, who said after losing to the Bulls that “We’re taking steps forward. After the game we took a step forward.”

“I mean, if you keep talking about it, no. We had a couple of meetings and now we have to do something about it. We can talk all we want but until we perform it means nothing.”

Richard Jefferson and Kyle Korver were out again for the Sixers game.

Korver hasn’t played this week and Jefferson missed the Bulls game too.
