Australian funk and soul group THE BAMBOOS has just released their latest album and the ten songs entitled “By Special Arrangement prove to be one of their most interesting projects so far. The new arrangements range from cinema to classics, and the singers will be known to the band’s fans, including Dan Sultan, Tim Rogers and Megan Washington. No, it’s not about “new” mixes, but about new recordings, most of which are arranged in fresh and sophisticated string, wood and metal arrangements. T are 6 songs, including two covers from Sam Brown’s “Stop” and London Grammar’s “Strong”. But the focus is on Kylie Auldist, the most common bamboo girl.
