Just as Rihanna did for April Fool’s Day last year, Britney Spears gave Jimmy Kimmel a pleasant though shocking surprise as the late-night host tried to sleep.
Kimmel’s wife conspired with the pop star for the prank.
In the Jimmy Kimmel Live! clip, Spears sneaks through Kimmel’s house close to 2 a.m. with a troupe of shirtless male dancers sporting tribal body paint.
Spears and the dancers launch into a performance of Spears’ new single “Make Me.” At one point, Spears jumps on the bed, whipping her hair and body rolling.
The dancers also jumped on the bed, performing on top of Kimmel’s body as he remained laying down.
Kimmel jokingly confronted his wife and met with Spears, who was worried that his kids were home.
He also noticed the man providing all the special effects and lighting on his body, covered in multi-colored tinsel and flashing lights that were attached to his shoulders and head. Spears’ ninth album, Glory, will be released via Apple Music on August 26th. Britney Spears announced on Twitter that ‘Glory’ will arrive in just a few weeks.
