Bradley Knowells’ dog Pet Dalmation Lou Dog is mentioned in several Sublime songs, including What I Got and Doin Time, and also appears on the band’s album covers. The uninvited guest seemed to be welcomed: someone was playing ball with the dog on the edge of the stage during the band’s performance, and the audience cheered as the dog repeatedly demonstrated “his” ball-catching skills. At one point the ball got lost and fell into the ditch in front of the stage, but our dog caught it after a toss from the crowd below, much to the delight of the audience.
