As Gossip Cop has reported, Gilman is a former child country star who scored a Grammy nomination before he was even a teen.

Due to voice changes and other issues he ended up losing his Sony record deal.

Now remade into a pop star, Gilman is making quite the comeback on “The Voice.”

Now to make into the Top 11, Gilman had to sing live for the second time of the NBC competition.

He chose a huge rock ballad to help him earn a spot.

To Gilman, the song represented his reemergence in the music scene.

Now his live performance led to a standing ovation from all four coaches.

Levine even stood on his chair, yelling to the crowd, “Stand up!” Blake Shelton spoke first, saying the performance was “Amazing,” and reflecting on how far Gilman has come.

“Wow.” He went on, “What could possibly epitomize the show more than someone who sings the way you do with the conviction that you do?” Check out the video below!
