Beyoncé turned 36 on Monday, and Queen Bey’s friends teamed up to give the singer a birthday tribute fit for – well, a queen.
The “Lemonade” singer’s official website featured a gallery of famous faces all channeling her iconic “Formation” music video look with the headline “Happy Birthday Beyonce From Your Family and Friends.”
The look – which originally featured Beyoncé wearing a large black hat covering her eyes, dark lipstick, braids and a massive collection of necklaces – was recreated by her daughter, Blue Ivy, husband JAY-Z’s mother Gloria and grandmother Hattie, former Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, former First Lady Michelle Obama, tennis superstar Serena Williams and her own mother, Tina Knowles Lawson, among many others.
The birthday tribute comes one day after JAY-Z surprised his wife with a “Happy Birthday” sing-a-long during his headlining set at the Made in America festival in Philadelphia.
She also received a special birthday message from her mother, Tina, on Instagram.
“Its because you are the kindest most generous, thoughtful, intuitive, loyal, humble, funny, grounded, grateful and loving human being. I am proud to be your mom. Happy Birthday Baby! I love you with my whole heart.”
