He unveiled a dramatic new look after shaving off his eyebrows, locks and facial hair for his new role as Pablo Picasso in the second series of Genius.

Antonio Banderas, 57, proudly paraded his new look as he arrived to the World Premiere of Genius: Picasso with girlfriend Nicole Kempel, 37, in Spain on Thursday.

Antonio, who began dating Nicole in since 2014, shortly after his 19-year marriage to Melanie Griffith ended, put on a seriously slick display in the black blazer which boasted a snazzy velvet lining.

Antonio was joined by stunning Nicole, who wowed in a grey blazer style number which showed off her endless pins.

Revealing shaved eyebrows and facial hair to match his shiny pate, the 57-year-old Spanish actor looked far removed from his usual dark and brooding appearance as he posed for gatd photographers at the capital city’s Westin Palace hotel.

Moments after the photocall ended, Antonio took to his Twitter account to share a shot of himself posing for photographers, alongside the caption: ‘Greetings from The Westin Palace, Madrid.

Antonio’s latest outing comes after revealed that he had three stents implanted to widen the narrowed arteries in his heart after the scare in January.

In a recently unveiled clip of the upcoming second season of the show, Antonio is seen sporting a silver coif while demonstrating unshakeable confidence as he takes on the role of the Guernica painter from his 40s onwards.

Another eye-popping scenes shows several ladies au naturale, appearing to pose for the artist’s famous Les Demoiselles d’Avignon painting.
