This latest version of Tarzan’s story will have the king of the jungle living as a British gent named John Clayton III in 1880s London with his wife, Jane, before he’s invited back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary.
It’s then that he becomes entangled in a nefarious and deadly plot masterminded by Capt. Leon Rom.
David Yates, who helmed the final four Harry Potter films and the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and W to Find Them, is directing.
The Legend of Tarzan is due in theaters next summer.
