Clippers’ reserve guard Jamal Crawford is definitely considered among the nicest men in the league, always thanking reporters for his or her time after interviews and even as he was departing Staples Center to shoot photos with fans pulling over his car.
After free agent centre DeAndre Jordan determined Friday to leave the Clippers for the Dallas Mavericks, Crawford was the sole Clipper who took to Twitter to express support for his former teammate.
Tweeted Crawford: “Had to be a tough choice, but proud of my lil bro @deandrejordan6. Consistently love&respect!! #friendsafterbasketball”.
Crawford, who regularly hosts question-and-answer sessions on Twitter, also addressed the dilemma another time when a fan asked him if he was upset that Jordan went to Dallas.
Responded Crawford: “Not at all, happy for him personally.”
The 26-year old facility helped the Clippers get one win away from advancing to the Western Conference finals for the very first time in their 45-year existence.
Jordan, who’d spent his whole seven-season NBA career with all the Clippers, agreed to sign with the Mavericks for four years and $80 million, with an opportunity to opt out after the third year.
