The album is attributed to Willie Mitchell, but Don voice attracts attention! Mitchell had his vocal record and his solo album – “Precious Soul” in 1969, but as his solo career expanded, Don married his colleague, recording artist Anne Peebles, for whom he wrote his national anthem “I Can’t Stand The Rain”. In 2012 Ann retired and Don began playing more and more evangelical music. In 2017, he produced a new secular album supported by Mrs B. 2017, “Don’t Give Up On Love,” what he called “yesterday’s music is brand new today, but with an old soul.
