Senior quarterback Baker Mayfield showed showed, once again, why he’s a frontrunner for the Heisman after leading the Sooners to a 38-20 win over TCU and putting them in position for a College Football Playoff spot.

Although Mayfield didn’t have a 600-yard game this weekend, he still performed to Heisman standard, something many of the other contenders can’t say.

Mayfield is listed as the favorite to win the award in December after his dominating Bedlam win, and should remain on top after this week’s performance.

Stanford’s Bryce Love took the No. 2 spot after Mayfield moved up as the frontrunner.

His passing performance this week was underwhelming, but had a solid rush game.

Oklahoma State quarterback Mason Rudolph made it back on the watch list, although not in the top five, after his showing against the Sooners in Bedlam.
