Two weeks after Zendaya Coleman slammed Modeliste Magazine for retouching her legs, hips, waistline, and face, the magazine owned up to the fact that they’d taken their touch-ups too far and released images of the unretouched photos.

The new photos show just how much Zendaya’s true form had been altered.

On Oct. 21, Zendaya, 19, slammed the magazine for manipulating pictures in an Instagram post showing the altered and unaltered images.

A day later, editor-in-chief Amy McCabe thanked Zendaya for “Raising a very important issue” and announced that Modeliste was working to replace the images.

“We were honored to work alongside Zendaya and her entire creative team and family for the photo shoot in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and specifically chose Zendaya as our Cover Model for the issue as we have a deep respect and admiration for her openness, honesty, and the genuine manner in which she connects with her loyal fan base, as well as her integrity,” McCabe said.

This isn’t the first time Zendaya has raised her voice over a controversial issue.
