A hip-hop artist was wounded in a shooting that sent police and paramedics flooding into Hollywood Boulevard’s tourist center Tuesday afternoon, law enforcement sources told the Los Angeles Times.

The shooting was reported at Shoe Palace, near the famous TCL Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard, about 1:15 p.m., Los Angeles police officials said.

Two law enforcement sources identified the victim as Young Dolph, a 32-year-old rapper.
