Rich Homie Quan may be used to feeling like the man when he walks through but after last night’s VH1 Hip Hop Honors performance, w he was literally at a loss for words when reciting Notorious B.I.G.’s “Get Money” verse, he’s become hip hop enemy number one on Twitter.

Viewers of last night’s show started the trending hashtag #RichHomieKaraoke, highlighting the epic hip hop fail of not only being unfamiliar with the lyrics of the single but also in attempting to make up his own.

The 2016 Hip Hop Honors aired last night on VH1, honoring a few female powerhouse emcees with their All Hail The Queens special.

Among the honorees were Missy Elliott; DJ Spinderella with rap duo Salt N Pepa; the queen herself, Queen Latifah; and the first lady of the 90s rap group Junior M.A.F.I.A and Bad Boy artist Lil Kim.

Lil Kim and the Queen took the stage themselves to perform some of their most memorable flashback hits and were even joined onstage by some special guests performers.

Her special guest Rich Homie was ill prepared for his part of the performance, as pointed out by Hot New Hip Hop, and decided to make up his own words.

During the performance of the 1995 released Junior M.A.F.I.A. single, the 26-year-old swaggered on to the stage wearing a Coogi sweater, reminiscent of the late rapper Christopher Wallace’s style, and proceeded to perform his verse.

The verse that begins with “You wanna sip Mo’ on my living room flo'[sic]/play Nintendo with Cease and Nino” somehow translated into something very different one Rich Homie Quan recited it.

From that moment on, the Twitter hip hop community has been in attack mode and all over him for his epic fail to such a classic single, verse and, even more so, original artist B.I.G. and the Hip Hop culture.
