After a Facebook Live chat on Wednesday, during which Minaj commented that she’d rather say, “I’m single,” a number of media outlets ran the soundbite as a headline.
While most stories later offered context to the quote and confirmed the Pinkprint artist was still dating rapper Meek Mill, some fans fell for the clickbait and apparently flooded Minaj with inquiries about her relationship status.
In response, Minaj took to Instagram to set the record straight – with her fans and aggregating news sites.
