Which is why none other than hip-hop artist Missy Elliott shared a video of Raylynn breaking it down on her Instagram and Twitter accounts last week.
Elliott had called for fans to post videos of themselves dancing to her new single, “Pep Rally.”
Last Sunday night before bedtime, she recorded a video of Raylynn free styling, or improvising, the dance seen around the world.
The day after posting the video, Megan Mendoza said a friend told her Elliott had shared their video.
After sharing her daughter’s reaction video on Instagram, that video was also shared by Elliott.
Raylynn’s reaction video, which shows her initial screams of excitement followed by a flow of tears, now has more “Likes” than the dance video itself.
