Only Mark Dantonio won’t say what those changes might be as Michigan State works through its first three-game losing streak since 2009.

Despite having “Talked at length” Sunday with his staff and players following their 31-14 loss to Brigham Young a day earlier, Dantonio said t is no decision on whether Tyler O’Connor will remain the starting quarterback or whether Damion Terry or Brian Lewerke will get a shot next Saturday against Northwestern.

Dantonio pulled O’Connor for Terry early in the final quarter after the Spartans’ offense got stuck in neutral during the second and third periods.

“If you can believe it, we crossed the 50 twice,” Dantonio said.

Dantonio reiterated that although he didn’t think O’Connor played glaringly bad, “At the end of the day, quarterback is about production, too.”

“With seven points at the end of the third quarter, I felt like we needed to do something new, to try and create a spark. And that’s how it was termed,” Dantonio said.

Dantonio hinted at “Moving different people different places or switching some different people out” but again wouldn’t elaborate.

“I think any time something like this happens, it shakes you up a little bit,” Dantonio said.
