Jack White has penned and produced a funky instrumental theme song for Maya Rudolph and Martin Short’s new NBC variety show, Maya and Marty.

Along with White – who handles drums on the track – the Maya and Marty theme features Third Man Records musicians Dean Fertita on organ, Dominic Davis on bass, Fats Kaplin on pedal steel guitar and Lillie Mae Rische, who lays down the cut’s charming, wah-wah warped guitar.

The Maya and Marty theme marks the first time White has written music for a TV show.

Maya and Marty premieres tonight, May 31st, on NBC at 10 p.m. ET. The program was borne out of Rudolph’s one-off variety show, The Maya Rudolph Show, which aired in 2014.

At SNL’s 40th anniversary show, Short and Rudolph delivered a ridiculous duet honoring the show’s many memorable music moments.

As for White, the musician has remained busy since he wrapped touring behind his 2014 album, Lazaretto.
