A medical marvel saved a softball player’s finger after losing part of it in an accident.
“I got into a freak accident with the door at my dorm,” said Kayla Ogle, a Barry University outfielder.
The senior lost part of her middle finger on her throwing hand.
Thanks to a medical miracle, Kayla was able to grow that part of her finger back.
Kayla’s family was skeptical of the procedure at first, but she was willing to try it.
“The process was cool, it was just kind of nasty,” Kayla said.
According to Kayla, the experience taught her what it truly means to persevere.
