The list of peculiar Jared Leto gifts just keeps growing.
The Oscar winner notoriously took method acting to a whole new level to embody The Joker in Suicide Squad, gifting his castmates a live rat, dead pig and box of bullets.
Karen Fukuhara, who plays the vengeful samurai warrior Katana in the supervillain team-up, says that she received her fair share of provocative presents.
“I got him to sign it as The Joker.”
As his co-stars and director David Ayer have noted, Leto never broke character shooting the DC Comics movie.
“The first day he was on set, I went up to him and said, ‘Hi, I’m Karen, nice to meet you. I play Katana.’ And he says, ‘He, he, he, he, he. Hi, pretty.’ It was the creepiest and coolest experience of my life.”
Leto wasn’t the only one to exhibit some oddball behavior on set.
