Career demands have claimed another Hollywood relationship.
Blindspot star Jaimie Alexander and Supergirl’s Peter Facinelli have called off their engagement.
Her representative confirmed the split to USA TODAY in a statement: “Due to conflicting family and work commitments on opposite coasts, and after much consideration, Peter and Jaimie have chosen to part ways amicably and remain good friends.”
Alexander, 31, shoots NBC’s Blindspot in New York while Facinelli, 42, has a recurring role in the L.A.-based Supergirl.
Family concerns also factor into the situation; he has three daughters with ex-wife Jennie Garth.
She also had a guest arc that year on his previous series, Nurse Jackie.
