“The Walking Dead” star Jeffrey Dean Morgan will soon be a real-life, up-all-night zombie: He and wife Hilarie Burton are expecting their second child.
Morgan, 51, and the “One Tree Hill” actress, 35, revealed the happy news Sunday on the Emmys red carpet when he placed a hand on his wife’s growing baby bump.
Burton recently joked about her husband’s ruthless “Walking Dead” character Negan, and said that having him play such an evil role actually benefited their family at home.
“It’s made him good cop at home. He gets all his bad cop stuff out of the way at work and then he comes home and he’s happy dad,” she told Entertainment Tonight in January.
“I think that’s the key. The key to success with home life is to be a crazy person on TV,” Morgan quipped back.
Burton frequently shares photos of their life together on Instagram, like in July when she and Gus visited the Titanic exhibit at the Reagan Presidential Library.
