Sources close to the Atlanta rap veteran have confirmed to Complex that Gucci Mane has officially been released from prison after being locked up for two years.

The news first broke on social media after Gucci’s longtime girlfriend Keyshiau00a0Ka’oir posted photos of her and Gucci together again on Snapchat.

It’s currently unclear how Gucci was able to get out on Thursdayu00a0because his original release date was scheduled for September.

Gucci Mane remains one of the most prolific rappers ever, and he adds to that legacy with the release of his much-anticipated post-prison debut Everybody Looking.

Gucci released a string of singles in the run-up to the project’s release, including “Guwop Home,” “First Day Out Da Feds,” “All My Children,” “Waybach,” and more.

The album finds him teaming back up with Zaytoven and Mike WiLL Made-It. If you recall, Gucci was responsible for giving Mike WiLL his producer name when he shouted him out on “Star Status.”

Gucci recently opened up about his time in prison with The New York Times, detailing how his incarceration helped him beat his drug addiction.
