Usher, Metric and Grimes will headline the Canadian iteration of the Global Citizen event, a free ticketed concert set to take place September 17th at the Bell Centre in Montreal.

The concert will be broadcast live on Bell Fibe TV1 and live streamed at iHeartRadio.

In order to enter the draw, fans must complete five tasks: Take a quiz and share a video, sign a petition to ensure world leaders support the Global Fund, send an e-mail encouraging global leaders to help fund efforts to eradicate polio, call PM Trudeau’s office and voice support for investment in health and development and sign a petition to support education for adolescent girls and build healthier global communities.

Global Citizen Canada will be held a week before the fifth Global Citizen Fest takes place September 24th on the Great Lawn of New York’s Central Park.

The Global Citizen event is held in support of the Global Fund’s fight to end AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria by 2030.

The concert in Canada will follow the Fund’s fifth pledging conference, w political and private sector leaders will commit to funding the organization’s efforts over the next three years.
